Man steals shoes from shoe store, sells them online for $5,000

A man in his 20s was arrested Sunday after stealing shoes and other items from a shoe store in Tulsa, Oklahoma, police said.

The suspect, whose name was not released, was identified as Jeremy Lee Davis, 21, of Oklahoma City.

Police said Davis was arrested for attempted theft of property from a business, which is a felony.

He faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

The shoe store is located in the 500 block of West Broadway, a few blocks from the University of Tulsa campus.

Davis was charged with one count of attempted theft.
